The 3 axis accelerometer is used to measure acceleration in any direction. This information is useful to determine many different things including a rocket's trajectory, altitude and speed. This device will be one of the several things connected to the rockets computer onboard the rocket, and its data will be sent via radio to the ground station for computer interpretation. |
